Timeline will be integrated into Microsoft Launcher
But in a recent tweet, Vishnu Nath, head of program management, Microsoft Mobility Experiences, revealed that the software giant is still working on bringing this feature to Android, only that an ETA is not available.
On Android, Windows 10’s Timeline feature will be part of Microsoft Launcher and won’t be released as a standalone app. Microsoft is making Launcher the one destination for its Android users, with Cortana also part of its feature lineup, so it makes sense for the company to embrace this approach.
“In progress. Sorry can’t say much more yet but it’s under active development. Stay tuned,” Vishnu Nath posted recently on Twitter.
No other details were shared, but depending on how work on this feature advances, it should be included in a beta build very soon.
