TMZ broke the news that Demi Lovato was reportedly hospitalized Tuesday in Los Angeles after suffering a possible heroin overdose. The 25-year-old superstar has not been shy when it comes to sharing details of her substance abuse issues. Between releasing a 2017 documentary illustrating her sobriety journey and putting out a new song in June called “Sober” which admitted to her relapse, the songstress has been open to the public.
Hollywood is wishing Lovato the best and sending prayers along the way. From Ariana Grande to Brad Paisley and Ellen DeGeneres, close friends and fans are taking to social media to show their support.
Ellen wrote, “It breaks my heart that she is going through this. She is a light in this world, and I am sending my love to her and her family,” while Riverdale’s Lili Reinhart praised Demi for once being her idol.
