We’re not just talking about photos here; there’s a full video (in the source link below) as well showing the Pixel 3 XL in its full glory. We can see the final production device (turned on and booted into Android 9 Pie), which gives us a good look at its beefy display notch. The leaked images also confirm a few specs of the device as well: we can see the appearance of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor along with 4GB of RAM and a display with a resolution of 2960×1440.
The fact that Google is still using 4GB of RAM is somewhat disappointing, but this revelation was confirmed earlier this month in a Geekbench leak. Many of today’s Android flagships are rocking either 6GB or 8GB of RAM. In fact, at least one OEM is contemplating outfitting a flagship with 10GB of RAM.
Although it’s already been confirmed by multiple leaks, there’s a single camera on the rear of device like the Pixel and Pixel 2 families that came before it.
One interesting addition that we find within the box is the appearances of what look to be wired version of the Pixel Buds headphones, which plug into the USB-C port at the bottom of the phone. It’s reported that a second generation of the wireless Pixel Buds will also be released alongside the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL.
So, there you have it — a production (or very near production) look at the Google Pixel 3 XL. Sound off in the comments section about Google’s next-generation flagship.
