Administrators said their goal is to make sure local departments have restocked their resources after Hurricane Florence slammed parts of the Tar Heel State last month, causing widespread flooding in many regions.
Officials are eyeing Harnett County, which suffered massive flooding damage from Florence. Many Harnett residents are still trying to recover from last month’s storm.

Emergency Management officials said they are ready to assist in any way, and declare another state of emergency if necessary.
