A horse is an essential part of the Red Dead Online experience so some players might be tempted to purchase insurance, but is the extra cost worth it?
Now that Red Dead Redemption 2‘s Online mode has officially entered early access, Rockstar looks to mimic the enormous success of Grand Theft Auto V Online. While GTA is a completely different experience than Red Dead Redemption 2, Rockstar still seeks to provide players with loads of content and enough of a reason to start playing Red Dead Online, and never stop. As expected, Red Dead Online is launching with a humongous amount of available content right off the bat. Players will find that there are more than enough missions and events to remain interested, and that new online-exclusive features like Horse Insurance have been added.
When considering all the bugs and glitches that have injured and killed many players’ horses in Red Dead Redemption 2‘s campaign, Horse Insurance immediately sounds like a must-have. Thankfully, players will have to buy Horse Insurance in Red Dead Online‘s first mission, but the first purchase is free.
