Although, Samsung is the number one smartphone maker in the world, its recent flagship models failed to make a splash. Perhaps, that’s why the company has increased its focus on its mid-range smartphones, which compete with Chinese budget handsets in the market. The South Korean behemoth has adopted the strategy of bringing bleeding-edge technology to midrangers before flagship models. The recently released Galaxy A9 is the prime example of this approach, as it’s the company’s (and the world’s) first camera to come with a quad-camera setup.
Continuing this trend, it has emerged that Samsung is going to equip an upcoming A-series handset with an In-display fingerprint scanner. The Galaxy A series smartphones are usually released before the S series handsets, which means we will find out which A series device it is before the Galaxy S10 is unveiled in February.
