New DOA6 trailer introduces NiCO and reveals the return of Kokoro and La Mariposa (Lisa Hamilton). Dead or Alive 6 will be released Feb. 15,2019, on PS4, Windows PC and Xbox One.
Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja introduced the second new character coming to Dead or Alive 6 this weekend: NiCO, the genius scientist/martial artist who fights with shocking plasma attacks. She’ll join Dead or Alive series newcomer Diego when Team Ninja’s fighting game hits PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One on Feb. 15,2019.
NiCO is known as The Lightning Technomancer, according to Koei Tecmo, and practices the martial art known as Pencak Silat from Southeast Asia. Here’s her official description:
The frenetic fighter employs powerful plasma discharges in her attacks, boosting her Pencak Silat strikes to another level, while at the same time using her EMF Rings to move at ultrahigh rates of speed. But that’s not all; as NiCO is also a genius scientist entrusted with Donovan’s secret M. I. S. T. development project. Despite her youthful appearance, she provides a genuine threat to the ninjas with her sharp, analytical mind and her natural sense for martial arts.
You can see NiCO in action in the trailer above, which also introduces returning fighters Kokoro and La Mariposa, the luchadora secret identity of fighter Lisa Hamilton. The new Dead or Alive 6 trailer also shows off two new stags: Zero, a research facility built by NiCO’s employer, MIST, and the quiet Japanese town of Miyabi.
