President Trump defended his daughter Ivanka for using a private email to send government-related information, saying the information wasn’t “classified.”
During an interview, President Donald Trump supported his daughter Ivanka Trump in light of reports that she used a private email account to exchange government information.
Many are comparing Ivanka to Hillary Clinton, calling the president’s daughter out for hypocrisy. However, the president was very quick in pointing out two major differences in the two situations.
“Early on, and for a little period of time, Ivanka did some emails,” he said. “They weren’t classified like Hillary Clinton. They weren’t deleted like Hillary Clinton, who deleted 33 [thousand]… She wasn’t doing anything to hide her e-mails.”
