Michigan woman survives final 'Jeopardy' question, wins her first game

The housewife and mother of six will return to”Jeopardy” next week to defend her championship in an episode that will air Monday at 7:30 p.m. in the Detroit market.
BURBANK, MI — Elizabeth Goss, of Pleasant Ridge, Mich. had the lead late during her appearance on “Jeopardy” Friday night, but she was only winning by $2,400 heading into Final Jeopardy.
Luckily for her, some strategic betting and a difficult question that none of the three contestants could answer correctly led to Goss winning the game and taking home $4,799.
