A man who got aggressive with another driver after a traffic accident in Milford Nov. 21 was cited for assault and battery.
Milford Police responded to a traffic accident at Union and Detroit streets at about 10 a.m. Neither driver was injured. A Milford man, 47, used an obscenity while telling the officer the other driver had pulled out in front of him causing the accident. The officer advised him to stop swearing and calm down.
The officer noted the damage to the man’s car was consistent with his account of the accident. The other driver, a 17-year old West Bloomfield resident, told the officer he had stopped at a stop sign and didn’t see the other vehicle, which he said was traveling at a high rate of speed.
