Vivo, Nubia, and Oppo revolutionized smartphones’ designs in 2018 by getting rid of the silly notch while still realizing full borderless displays. Vivo released the first device with a motorized pop-up camera, Nubia realized the first dual-display smartphone which can use the rear cameras as selfie cameras, and Oppo made the first smartphone with a slider design and a screen-to-body ratio superior to 85%. Vivo NEX Dual Display and Nubia X both come with two displays, one on the front and one on the back, so most of the surfaces of these phones are covered by a screen. Oppo Find X has a slider design with motorized parts and it features a slightly higher screen-to-body ratio. But on the other hand, it is a thicker device.
