Fitbit Versa vs Fitbit Versa Lite: do you lose much by getting the cheaper edition?

There are a number of differences between the Fitbit Versa and Fitbit Versa Lite.
Fitbit now offers two versions of the Fitbit Versa, with the standard model joined by the Fitbit Versa Lite.
As the name suggests, the latter is a cheaper version of the smartwatch with some features stripped away. But just what’s missing here? What remains? How do the prices differ? And how else do they compare?
We answer all of that below, as we compare and contrast the Fitbit Versa to the Fitbit Versa Lite across all the areas that matter.
The Fitbit Versa and Fitbit Versa Lite have a very similar design, so much so that you’re unlikely to be able to tell them apart at first glance.
They both have a rectangular aluminum body with rounded corners, however, while the standard Fitbit Versa has three buttons to help you navigate – with two on the right edge and one on the left – the Fitbit Versa Lite has just one button, with the two on the right absent.
The two models are also available in different colors, with the Fitbit Versa coming in all black, or with a peach strap and a rose gold body, or grey with a silver body, while the Versa Lite comes in white with a silver body, lilac with a silver body, mulberry, or marina blue.
The straps in all cases are silicone, though there’s also a Fitbit Versa Special Edition, which comes with a slightly classier woven strap in charcoal or lavender.
