While giving an interview on Fox News on Thursday, McClintock — a member of the House Judiciary Committee who has served in Congress since 2009 — praised Barr’s refusal to show up for the House Judiciary Committee hearing into special counsel Robert Mueller’s report into Russian interference during the 2016 presidential race, saying the attorney general was “absolutely right” to skip it.
