Wall Street Market had more than 1.15 million users, who bought and sold drugs, stolen data, and malware. Now it’s offline and German police have arrested three of the site’s admins.
German police have shut down the “Wall Street Market,” one of the biggest black market platforms on the dark web.
The site had more than 1.15 million customer accounts, and acted as a haven for criminals to sell drugs, stolen data, and malware. But on Friday, German authorities announced the arrest of three people suspected of operating the site.
The police have also seized the marketplace’s servers, and replaced the website with a notice about the takedown. In addition, two of the highest-selling drug dealers on the platform have been arrested in the US.
