Live-action remake of the Disney classic opens in theaters July 14
Beyoncé has spoken. Or that is, we finally heard her voice as Nala in the latest teaser trailer for “The Lion King” that dropped Monday.
The Queen B and soon-to-be Queen of the Pride Lands released the TV spot via her YouTube channel, and in it we see Nala begging Simba (Donald Glover) to return to the Pride Lands and defeat Scar.
“Simba, you have to take your place as King,” Beyoncé says in the trailer.
