The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has invited 819 new members to join, including the cast and lead crew of Bong Joon-ho’s film ‘Parasite.’
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has invited 819 new members to join, including the cast and lead crew of Bong Joon-ho’s film Parasite. Invitations are extended to film artists who have distinguished themselves by their contributions to theatrical motion pictures.
Parasite actors who received academy invitations include Choi Woo-sik, Jang Hye-jin, Jo Yeo-jeong, Lee Jung-eun and Park So-dam. Invitations were also extended to costume designer Choi Se-yeon, editor Yang Jin-mo, composer Jung Jae-il, producer Kwak Sin-ae, production designer Lee Ha-jun, sound designer Choi Tae-young and co-writer Han Jin-won.
