You may soon get an invite to be among the first to pre-order a PS5. Sony has opened registration for invite-only PlayStation 5 pre-orders. A number of users have reported getting an email that grants them a chance to register “for an opportunity to be one of the first to pre-order your PS5.” The company did not offer a price, nor a release date for the upcoming console. The email simply gives those who receive it a better chance at securing a unit come launch, directly from Sony. Those interested can still register using their PSN ID, but you’ll only be able to pre-order a PS5 that way if you get an invite.
