Xbox Series X pre-orders went live last month, but quickly leapt from the shelves. If you were looking to pre-order Xbox Series X over the last few weeks, you will have been faced with a litany issues. Stock shortages, site breakdowns, and retailers suggesting they may not have units available at launch – the Xbox Series X hasn’t had an easy time of it so far. That’s also true for those looking to buy one. We haven’t seen new stock jumping back onto the shelves in a while now, but we’re holding out hope for another flash just before launch. Nevertheless, we’re bringing you all the latest Xbox Series X pre-order updates as they come in, so bookmark this page if you’re having difficulty securing the next-gen console. Microsoft has assured fans that more stock is on its way, so it’s all still to play for. It’s worth noting, however, that ShopTo, a retailer in the UK, has started notifying customers that Xbox Series X pre-orders may not ship in time for launch day. As Microsoft allocates more of its stock over the next few weeks we’ll be bringing you more information on possible delays, but for now US retailers don’t seem to be affected. The cheaper $299 console takes $200 off the price of Xbox Series X pre-orders, but offers next-gen hardware to enjoy the latest games on for an low price (but with less well-specified hardware). We’re expecting these consoles to outlast Series X stock, but there’s still going to be some competition to get your order in. If you’re concerned about dropping the full $499 on the Xbox Series X, however, it’s also worth noting that you’ll be able to pre-order via the Xbox All Access scheme as well. That allows you pay in monthly instalments, and even adds an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription into the mix as well. You can head to Microsoft to grab this payment plan option, with prices announced at $24.99 a month for the Series S and $34.99 a month for the Series X, over 24 months.
