The launch of Season 1 has brought plenty of changes to Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War. However, new updates are still bringing about previously released game modes such as Face Off. First debuting in a game long since retired, this mode is currently available in both Modern Warfare and Cold War. But what is Face Off, and what makes it different from the usual multiplayer modes? Face Off in Call of Duty is a three-versus-three playlist consisting of various Gunfight-based modes. Face Off made its debut in Modern Warfare 3, and has since appeared in both Modern Warfare 2019 and Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War.
