The field of 68 teams is set, and games begin Thursday. Here are the seeds for all four regions of the 2021 edition of March Madness.
The 68 teams for the 2021 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament are set after Sunday’s selection show. As projected, the top overall seed is Gonzaga. The Bulldogs will be the top seed in the West Region. The other No.1 regional seeds are Baylor, Michigan and Illinois. The tournament starts this Thursday with the First Four games. The first round of the tournament starts on Friday, March 19, and the second round begins two days later. Here are the First Four match ups this Thursday: No.11 Wichita State vs No.11 Drake No.11 Michigan State vs No.11 UCLA No.16 Norfolk State vs No.16 Appalachian State No.16 Mount St. Mary’s vs No.16 Texas Southern The positioning of the other 60 teams are also set. TV times and game sites are still being worked on by the committee.
