A Florida family of five was killed on Friday after the small plane they were in crashed into dense woods in Georgia, the authorities said. The plane, a Piper twin engine aircraft, crashed in an area off Tanyard Road, about six miles northeast of Eatonton, Ga., a city of about 6,600 people that is about 75 miles southeast of Atlanta. Nearby residents recorded what appeared to be the plane falling from the sky.
