The HomePod will still be available online and in certain Apple retail stores.
(Image: Apple) Apple has officially discontinued the original HomePod wireless speaker. Speaking to TechCrunch, Apple confirmed that the HomePod will continue to be available “while supplies last” online and in-store at Apple retailers. Apple will continue to provide HomePod users with software updates, service, and support. Instead, Apple will be focusing on the HomePod mini going forward. “HomePod mini has been a hit since its debut last fall, offering customers amazing sound, an intelligent assistant, and smart home control all for just $99,” Apple said in a statement.
