Microsoft Surface Edition has been spotted on UserBenchmark suggesting that reports of Microsoft using last-gen AMD chip in its Surface Laptop 4 could be true.

About three weeks ago, a report surfaced alleging that the AMD variant of Microsoft’s upcoming Surface Laptop 4 will be using last-gen Ryzen 4000 based processors and this is despite the fact that AMD had already released its succeeding Zen 3-based mobile 5000 series APUs then. As it turns out, the report may indeed be accurate as a UserBenchmark entry of a PC featuring the “AMD Ryzen 7 Microsoft Surface Edition” was spotted by Twitter leakster ‘APISAK’.
