Even though Sony’s new PlayStation 5 has been out for months, it’s still nearly impossible to get your hands on one. Major retailers such as Best Buy, Target, GameStop, Amazon and Walmart have had limited supply that simply can’t keep up with the high demand — and when restocks arrive, the console sells out within minutes. It’s no surprise that the PS5 was recently dubbed the fastest-selling console in US history. As of April 4, none of the major retailers have the PS5 in stock. Despite occasional PS5 restock drops at various stores, the gaming console remains sold out in both of its configurations: the $400 digital-only edition with no optical drive and the pricier $500 model with Blu-ray.
