A tie game heading into the final quarter, Iosefa Toia’ivao hit Kody Barrett for a game-winning 69-yard touchdown strike with under three minutes to play to give Kearns its sixth win of the season. Toia’ivao tossed three touchdowns in the game, with the other two being caught by Isaac Luckart. Seth Roberts tossed three touchdown passes and ran for another score as Olympus jumped all over rival Skyline building a 21-0 first quarter lead on it’s way to the victory in the battle for “The Rock.” The win for Olympus created a three-way tie for second place in the region between Skyline, Olympus and Park City. Related Visiting Canyon View edged Richfield on the final game of the 3A South region slate as the two teams finished in a tie for second place in the region with 3-2 records. Summit Academy never trailed in their final region victory of the season, on the road, over the Spartans. Koa Sylvester rushed for two touchdowns for the Bears, including a 98-yarder midway through the first quarter. Delta scored 20 of its 26 points in the second quarter to give itself a two-touchdown victory over rival Millard to end the regular season. Junior Cameron Skeem scored two rushing touchdowns for the Rabbits.
