Debate over Remington Arms’ $73 million settlement with the nine families that sued the gun maker in the aftermath of 2012′s Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre played out on what appears to be its unverified Twitter feed Tuesday. The company — which filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2018 and 2020 — last posted on Monday, wishing its supporters a Happy Valentine’s Day. “Look who didn’t get to buy their sweeties any Valentine’s Day goodies,” wrote one Twitter user alongside photos of several children killed inside the Connecticut school.
