Netflix and The Duffer Brothers just dropped the Stranger Things season 4 release date, renewal for season 5, and five brand new pieces of key art. Announced via Netflix’s official Twitter account, this news is welcomed with open arms by fans after a two-and-a-half-year wait. As part of the announcement, co-Creators Matt and Ross Duffer penned an open letter to fans explaining the huge delay from the previous season, released in July of 2019. Granted, there was a little thing called Covid that put us all in the Upsidedown for a while, too. Stranger Things is getting the same release treatment as Netflix’s recent season of Ozark —meaning it will be split into two “volumes,” with promises of a larger season overall.
