A 69-year-old man was arrested over the weekend on an attempted murder charge after police said he shot a 42-year-old man.
FORT PIERCE — A 69-year-old man was arrested over the weekend on an attempted murder charge after police said he shot a 42-year-old man, according to Fort Pierce police. Gary E. Clanton, of Fort Pierce, was arrested after the 3 a.m. Saturday incident in the 2100 block of South 31st Street, police stated. Police went to the scene regarding a domestic dispute. The 42-year-old man wounded in the case was taken to HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital in Fort Pierce.
