This Mickey Mouse administration is in trouble.
This Mickey Mouse administration is in trouble. A bill that would eliminate Disney’s special district in Florida that essentially lets the company function as a county government is headed to Gov. Ron DeSantis’ desk. The Florida House of Representatives passed the bill Thursday, one day after Florida’s senate gave it the rubber stamp. The Republican DeSantis kick-started the process Tuesday because he was upset that the economic behemoth criticized his “Don’t Say Gay” bill. “If Disney wants to pick a fight, they chose the wrong guy,” DeSantis wrote Wednesday in a fundraising email.
