Residents heard between 20 and 30 gunshots as officers were seen surrounding a house in Bristol, according to reports.
Three officers were shot in Bristol, Connecticut, on Wednesday night, police said.
Connecticut State Police said the shooting occurred near Redstone Hill Road and Birch Street, local news station station WFSB reported.
