Bruno Mars ‘humbly, sexually’ withdraws Silk Sonic from Grammy consideration

Bruno Mars announced Thursday that, Silk Sonic, his project with singer Anderson .Paak, will “bow out” of submitting their album “An Evening With Silk Sonic” for Grammy consideration.
“We truly put our all on this record, but Silk Sonic would like to gracefully, humbly and most importantly, sexually, bow out of submitting our album this year,” Mars said in a statement to Rolling Stone.
“We hope we can celebrate with everyone on a great year of music and partake in the party. Thank you for letting Silk Sonic thrive.”
The duo didn’t explain why they would not submit the November 2021 album for the award, but the lead single, “Leave the Door Open,” was already nominated at last year’s Grammys and won in four categories: Best R&B Performance, Best R&B Song, Song of the Year and Record of the Year.
