Empress Schuck and Baron Geisler were among the celebrities who offered prayers and called for help for victims of Severe Tropical Storm Paeng (international name: Nalgae) that recently hit the country.
Schuck asked for donations while showing streets, houses and establishments deep in flood in Zamboanga, through her Instagram page on Sunday. The actress was also seen with residents in what appears to be an evacuation center where they were brought to for safety.
“Typhoon Paeng brought great damage to the Filipinos from Luzon to Mindanao. My beloved city, Zamboanga City, was one of the cities gravely affected by Paeng as it left thousands of families displaced with destroyed shelters and in need of evacuation,” she said.
