FC Barcelona Coach Xavi Admits Napoli Champions League Draw ‘Not A Good Result’

FC Barcelona head coach Xavi Hernandez was unhappy that his team drew 1-1 with Napoli in a Champions League last 16 tie on Wednesday.
FC Barcelona head coach Xavi Hernandez confessed that a 1-1 draw against Napoli in their Champions League last 16 first leg tie on Wednesday “wasn’t a good result” for the Catalans.
Barca went 1-0 up through Robert Lewandowski in the second half, and had plenty of chances to bury the Italians.
Concentration slipped in the 75th minute, when Victor Osimhen managed to turn Inigo Martinez inside the box and then convert past Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
Ilkay Gundogan could have snatched a win with a last gasp chance in injury time, but the German passing the ball to the wrong side of the post meant that Xavi was left to lament what could have been ahead of the return fixture at the Montjuic Stadium on March 12.
