May is getting busy and many smartphone launches are to come this week. The Samsung Galaxy F55, iQOO Z9x, and Vivo X100 Ultra are some of the phones that will be debuting in a few days.

Launch date: May 17th
The Samsung Galaxy F55 will arrive as a successor to the Galaxy F54 and will be sold in India via Flipkart. The teaser images confirm the phone will have a vegan leather back panel, a shift from the usual polycarbonate body of other Samsung mid-rangers. Samsung has also confirmed the price will be under Rs 30,000.

RAM and storage: 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage options.
OS: The phone is likely to boot Android 14-based One UI 6.0 custom skin.
Cameras: Galaxy F55 5G might house a 50MP primary camera with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. There could be a 50MP selfie camera on the front.
Battery, charging: The phone is tipped to pack a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.

iQOO Z9x will join the already launched iQOO Z9. The handset is set to debut in India on May 16th and will be sold via Amazon. The new teaser images have revealed key details about the phone, including the chipset, battery, and fast charging speed. The handset should be priced around the similar range, if not slightly less than the standard iQOO Z9.

Display: The iQOO Z9x 5G will have a 6.72-inch Full HD+ display with up to 120Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole cutout.
