Chicago police said a teenager has been charged with murder in the fatal shooting of Jai’mani Amir Rivera, a 7-year-old boy who was killed outside an apartment building on the city’s west side.

“There is no excuse for this violence”, police Supt. Larry Snelling said Friday night.
