A new report claims that Apple is also set to throw its hat into the foldable ring with a folding iPhone that could be released as early as 2026.
According to The Information, Apple’s folding device will have a clamshell design, similar to Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip series. This will make it different from Google’s first folding smartphone – the Pixel Fold – that was launched with a Galaxy Z Fold-like design last year. The report doesn’t reveal too many details about the rumored phone but claims that it could have dimensions similar to current iPhones when unfolded.
