A Redditor walking into a local Walmart and buying a piece of unreleased, unannounced tech sounds like a made-up story. But according to a post on the social platform, it actually happened.
Redditor Plastic_Development1 claims they walked into a Walmart and bought a pair of Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro earbuds, which are expected to be shown off during Samsung’s yearly Unpacked event takes place on July 10.
The interesting part of this story is that the earbuds haven’t even been formally announced yet. And while we are expecting myriad announcements in the form of a new Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, the highly anticipated Galaxy Ring and a whole host of things about Galaxy AI, we’re also potentially about to see a set of earbuds.
Plastic_Development1 says they purchased the earbuds from their local Walmart for $250. That would put them in the same neighborhood as the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, which retailed for $230 when they launched in 2021.
