Travis Barker runs 5k alongside fans ahead of Blink 182’s Sunday night Citi Field concert

Travis Barker hit the New York City pavement hours before a sold-out, Sunday night show at Citi Field to raise money for a good cause: The Boys and Girls Clubs of Los Angeles and New York.
Travis Barker — the inked-up drummer of legendary punk band Blink 182 — hit the New York City pavement hours before a sold-out, Sunday night show at Citi Field to raise money for a good cause: The Boys and Girls Clubs of Los Angeles and New York.
The morning event, which Barker coordinated with Blink’s ongoing “One More Time” tour, quickly became a mecca for his fans.
Many runners wore Blink 182 shirts, and the band’s hits provided the pre-race soundtrack as runners warmed up and stretched out ahead of the 3.1-mile race, which began in the stadium parking lot.
“To see New York show out like this is crazy to me,” Barker, 48, told The Post.
“I live on the entire other side of the country, so it’s like it’s just the coolest thing ever.”
“Even though I come here and I’m like, ‘I might just take it easy,’ — when I see all these people that come out, I get so motivated and hyped up.
