Valve adds a new feature to the Steam storefront that aims to help out owners of the Steam Deck portable PC device look for compatible games.
A new update to the Steam storefront has been released, which helps out Steam Deck owners by showing if a review for a game was played primarily on the device. Valve’s Steam Deck is a handheld PC system that first debuted in February 2022, giving gamers the opportunity to play their library in a portable form. While there are a number of other portable PCs competing for the same audience, the Steam Deck is still a pretty popular option, with a few different models for gamers to choose from.
While the Steam Deck has over 7000 compatible games, the experience of playing these games on the system may vary. Some games may be simply “playable”, being able to run on the system with its limited resources, while others may be “verified”, meaning it is optimized and runs incredibly well on the handheld system.
