Lakers rookie guard Bronny James played in his second career game on Sunday.
The Los Angeles Lakers played their second preseason game of the 2024-25 season on Sunday night against the Phoenix Suns. Los Angeles led for the majority of the contest but blew the lead late in the fourth quarter.
The final score was 118-114, with Phoenix coming out on top. LeBron James and Anthony Davis made their preseason debuts for the Lakers, helping the team take the early lead.
Davis dropped 17 points, eight rebounds, and three assists over 18 minutes of game action. James put up 19 points, five rebounds, and four assists over 16 minutes on the floor.
But during the second quarter, history was made. Lakers rookie guard Bronny James checked into the game, joining his father LeBron.
It was the first time that a father-son duo had ever played together on an NBA court and a moment that the James family will never forget.
