NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell reacted to the idea of Taylor Swift becoming part-owner of the Chiefs after Tom Brady became part-owner of the Raiders.
The NFL Owners Meeting kicked off on Tuesday, leading to discussions and votes being cast for multiple approvals in the league. The owners approved of the Jacksonville Jaguars stadium renovations, and they also finally approved Tom Brady becoming a part-owner of the Las Vegas Raiders.
Brady had been waiting a year for his approval after NFL owners expressed issues with Brady being an analyst while also being a part-owner of an NFL team. The Patriots legend was hit with multiple restrictions like not being granted access to other teams’ facilities or practices, along with broadcast production meetings.
Despite the steep restrictions, the NFL owners approved Brady’s request, making him an official part owner of the Raiders. Brady joined Tom Wagner, the co-founder of Knighthead Capital Management, in purchasing a 10 percent stake in the Raiders.
