Apple is working on its own AI solution designed to compete with ChatGPT and Gemini, as the company hunts for new sources of revenue.
Apple’s AI efforts are currently being propped up by OpenAI’s ChatGPT, but the company is making strides on a more capable version of Siri according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. Internally, the project is currently being called “LLM Siri,” and it’s intended to compete with ChatGPT and Google’s Gemini Live.
The goal is to allow users to interact with Siri in a conversational manner, and for the assistant to be able to handle more complex queries and requests.
