Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign seems to feel more confident after former Trump’s controversy around comments against Puerto Rico.
Vice President Kamala Harris is winning among recently decided battleground voters by “double digit margins”, according to the campaign.
reporter Matt Viser and Bloomberg reporter Josh Wingrove posted to X, formerly known as Twitter, that the Vice President’s campaign officials said their data shows the Democratic nominee winning among those battleground state voters “who’ve made up their mind the past week.” Both journalists were retweeted by Harris’ campaign spokesperson Sarafina Chitika.
“The Harris campaign’s data show that battleground voters who’ve made up their mind in the past week are breaking by double digit margins to Harris over Trump, per a Harris campaign official today, speaking to reporters”, Wingrove posted. “The official said they feel very good about the trajectory.”
Newsweek reached out to the campaign to view the data and for comment.
This cycle, the winner will need to carry some or all of the following seven states: Nevada, Arizona, Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin.
According to the latest set of Marist polls, conducted between October 27 and 30, Harris is leading Trump in the “blue wall” states of Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania.
