The country music legend put her very own twist on the hit song in a black and white music video featuring Carpenter, who famously filmed a provocative video for her song “Feather” at the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in New York, resulting in the demotion of the priest who let it happen. Parton’s iconic status was tainted when she teamed up with the former Disney star on a song that is a nod to Carpenter’s ex, Barry Keoghan. The new single is featured on the new deluxe edition of Carpenter’s “Short n’ Sweet” album, which also dropped just in time for Valentine’s.
