Windows 11's Phone Link is about to lose a handy feature

It’s not all bad news, though
Microsoft’s Phone Link app is one of the key components of the company’s cross-device strategy, and the software giant also treats it like one by improving the app. That’s Microsoft’s official stance, but in reality, not everything works in users’ favor. The recent example that I can remember is when Microsoft quietly axed the ability to remove devices from Phone Link.
It took Microsoft several months to offer a solution after we first reported on it last year. Now, it looks like the company is preparing for the departure of yet another handy feature in Phone Link. Though, unlike last time, Microsoft is at least notifying Windows 11 users about the deprecation before fully removing it.

The Phone Link app on Windows 11 currently has four different tabs, including Calls, Messages, Photos, and Apps.
