While Microsoft hasn’t explicitly stated that a new Xbox is on the way, we’ve heard whispers that the company is planning something with its gaming hardware. Yes, despite letting go of its exclusives and going for a cross-platform strategy, Microsoft isn’t going to duck out of hardware anytime soon.
Now, we’ve heard a hint that there might be plans to release a new Xbox sometime in 2027. And while the hint doesn’t outright confirm that one will arrive, it does come from a very reputable source.
