Windows Phone has had an app problem for quite a while now and given that the platform has less than one percent market share , developers might not be too keen on developing for the platform or even updating existing apps. Samsung’s SmartThings is the latest in the growing list of apps leaving the struggling platform.
SmartThings announced in a blog post that effective from 1st April, Windows Phone users will no longer be able to download their app, which will make SmartThings 1.7.0 the final version for the platform. The Palo Alto-based company explains that it is “no longer able to provide the desired level of updates and support for this platform”.
