Chinese manufacturer Vernee will launch the world’s first handset to feature MediaTek’s new range-topping Helio X30 SoC. The Apollo 2 will also have up to 128GB of storage, and a whopping 8GB of RAM.
Last March, Chinese manufacturer Vernee launched the Apollo, its $399 Android flagship with a 5.5-inch Quad HD screen, MediaTek Helio X20 system-on-a-chip, and a whopping 6GB of RAM.
Vernee is now preparing for the launch of that handset’s successor, and it looks set to pack some even more monstrous specs.
Roland Quandt from WinFuture.de tweeted what appears to be an official slide from Vernee, which reveals that the Apollo 2 will come in two configurations.
