Google might release Android 7.1.2 Nougat on April 3

According to a new report, Google may be planning to release its next Android update, version 7.1.2 Nougat, to its line of supported Nexus and Pixel devices next month – specifically, on April 3.
Six weeks ago, Google announced the Android 7.1.2 beta, offering previews to supported devices and confirming an end of support for the Nexus 6 and 9. But the firm really hasn’t said anything about the ‘maintenance update’ since, and the only real news was when the Nexus 6P received the beta about four weeks later.
According to a new report from Android Central , Google might be releasing Android 7.1.2 Nougat to supported Nexus and Pixel devices on April 3.
It’s based on the idea that Canadian carrier Rogers is going to release an update to Pixel phones on that date that enables VoLTE, and the company has already been testing that feature on the Android 7.
