A month after Touch Bar support was added to the rest of the Office 2016 suite on Macs, Microsoft is today adding the feature to Outlook for Office Insiders who are on the Slow ring.
Last month, Microsoft introduced Touch Bar support to Office for Mac, bringing it to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Today, the feature is coming to Outlook 2016 as well, at least for Insiders on the Slow ring.
Microsoft says that the feature will give you access to your “most commonly used commands” while you’re working on your email or managing your calendar. For example, you’ll see formatting options when composing an email or a meeting request, or you can use it to change between different views in your calendar. You can even use it to join meetings.
